Valencia Academy of the Arts PTA
Our PTA is part of the National PTA, the oldest and largest volunteer association working exclusively on behalf of all children and youth. When you join the PTA, you stand shoulder to shoulder with concerned adults across the country. One of our most important goals here at Valencia Elementary is parent involvement. We want to reach out to all the parents of Valencia students and let them know that they have a stake in their school, their community, and in their children’s future.
PTA Membership
Each year the PTA asks parents and teachers to join the association during it's membership drive in October. Membership is only $6.00 per member. Your tax-deductible contribution supports the National PTA, California State PTA, as well as the PTA at Valencia Elementary school. Simply fill out the white PTA envelope and have your child return it to his/her teacher. If you have misplaced your envelope, you may pick up another one in the school office or from your child's teacher. We look forward to an exciting school year and hope to see many of our members at our PTA meetings.

PTA Meetings
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month - See our School Calendar for dates/times. Anyone can attend a PTA meeting, but only PTA members may vote on board issues.

PTA Fundraising
The PTA holds fundraisers throughout the year. The money goes directly back to our students. Funds raised contribute towards PE/playground equipment, educational assemblies, field trip buses and admissions, student awards and incentives, library materials, and so much more.

SPIRIT Wear
School Spirit/T-Shirts: Friday of each week is School Spirit Day. Students are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing Valencia’s school T-shirt and colors (blue and gold). T-shirts are sold through the PTA, but are NOT mandatory. They may be purchased in the school office- $10.00 for youth or adult sizes.
Donations
PTA is always seeking donations for school events and the classrooms. If you are interested in donating items such as coffee, coffee supplies (sugar, creamer), paper goods, copy paper, etc., please feel free to drop off these items in the school office.
