Welcome to Valencia Valencia Academy of the Arts – a wonderful school in a charming setting, which celebrates students and nurtures scholarship. Valencia strives to develop student academic achievement through rigorous instruction and innovative child-centered programs which strengthen student connections to our local and global communities as well as to the natural world. We offer an inspiring environment for the education of girls and boys from Transitional Kindergarten through Grade Five, in the unyielding belief that each and every child has the potential for excellence and deserves the opportunity to reach the highest levels of education. Through teaching of the highest caliber, students are expected and encouraged to excel academically and develop socially. Valencia’s devotion to bringing out the best in each pupil lies at the heart of our educational philosophy. Valencia Lightning Bolts acquire skills, which will enable them to sustain an enduring love of learning and facilitates their on-going pursuit of higher education. Attendance at school each and every day results in improved academic success as well as positive social and emotional growth for your child. The El Rancho Unified School District would like to thank you for your continued support in your child's success and for making sure they attend every day.

As we start the 2015-16 school year, we want to inform you of our attendance expectations. Simply put and to ensure learning, we expect that students will attend school- every day, on-time, and for the full day each and every day. The exception is when your child is ill.

Your support of positive daily attendance for your child makes you a vital and important part of your child's success and future achievement.

El Rancho Unified School District Seeks Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee Applicants for Measure EE

Voters in the El Rancho Unified School District (District) approved Measure “EE” on November 2, 2010. Measure “EE” a $52 million bond measure, was put on the ballot to construct and improve local schools and student support facilities, improve student access to computers and classroom technology, build vocational technical classrooms, provide improvements to better maintain schools, and provide renewable energy improvements to reduce operating costs and put more money into the classroom.

The District is currently in the process of recruiting one individual to fill a vacancy on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for Measure “EE.” The committee has been established to monitor all bond measure projects and expenditures, provide proper oversight, controls, and accountability to ensure that bond measure funds are used as they were intended, and make regular reports to the community on the progress of the bond measure projects.
